New dimensions in the sector of high precision rotary axis

The latest in our wide range of products are rotary tables with an altogether new concept in the area of accuracy.

The basic principle of the CNC controlled rotary tables of the types RT is the vacuum air-bearing technology, developed by Kunz precision and approved since many years. This technology is excellently suitable when it comes to the realisation of low-noise rotation movements, and additionally to keep the height of the construction low, which has a positive effect with these rotary axes.



The drive is effected by Piezo motors. As a readout-system a high-quality angle measuring system is used with a resolution of up to 0.01 angle seconds. With the rotary table RT-300 positioning accuracies of 0.5” or even less over a total area of 360° can be achieved.



In combination with the high quality straightness-measuring systems STRAIGHT-line or STRAIGHT-set, extreme demanding angle-testing-workstations can be achieved with accuracies not yet obtained. These high precision rotary tables are primarily applied in the precision manufacturing, calibration laboratories and national metrology institutes.
