Measuring devices and test equipment are hereby subject to the necessary periodical calibration. Analogical reworking and adjustments are carried out by specialists with great expertise.

Calibration on site
The calibration of length measuring devices and height gauges usually takes place at the customers location. This saves unnecessary costs for transport and loss of production is minimised as calibration work usually takes only a few hours. Prior to the calibration an operation control and service are carried out. The subsequent calibration is executed with laser-interferometer and gauge blocks. A reliable and traceable measuring device is within shortest time at customers disposal.

Calibration of hard stone testing equipment in our laboratory
Hard stone test equipment is our speciality. In our modern laboratory, which belongs to one of the most precise laboratories in Switzerland, measuring equipment like hard stone straight-edges and squares are calibrated and reworked. Calibration takes place according to newest methods, which have been developed together with METAS.
Out of date testing methods, which are usually implemented with this kind of measuring equipment, do not conform with today’s demands anymore. With our methods and highly developed measuring systems some measuring equipment receives for the first time a "serious calibration”.

If reworking is necessary, our great expertise comes into operation. As a manufacturer of ultra precise hard stone measuring equipment we have everything at hand: The extensive knowledge and the appropriate technical facilities. With our own developed lapping procedures we generate finest, most even surfaces without being tapered towards the edges and which are unique in their accuracy. Comparable measurements clearly show the difference.

It goes without saying that we are accredited for all measurements mentioned below as calibration centre SCS. This way our facilities are supervised and examined periodically and the knowledge level of our employees is being broadened simultaneously.
