Spindle Testing Device STD

Hardened prisms are made to support the spindles precisely. A sophisticated clamping system allows fast changing of the spindles on serial measurements. Thanks to the stable and the homogenous construction of the device, high precision measurements can be realized. The measurement results can be read out of the digital display, and/or be transmitted and evaluated in the software P-soft.

Measurement procedure:

  • First insert of the appropriate contact-probe
  • Insert the spindle into the prisms
  • Touching the first position with the contact-probe
  • Set the display to zero / transmit measurement value to the software P-soft
  • Lifting up the contact-probe, measuring the next measuring position
  • Read the measurement value from the display or insert the value into the software P-soft
  • Evaluating the results

The low weight and slip resistance of the slide allow an extremely precise centering within the thread. This guarantees highest precision and repeatability. The accuracy values apply to 20 °C and stable temperature conditions (ΔT ≤ 0.2K / 24h).
