The RAIL-check measuring system consists of a high precision reference ruler, a measuring head with five sensors and adjusting aids, the interface and an easy to use measuring and analysis software.


The tested linear axis is measured and evaluated by comparison measurement with a high precision ruler. The ruler – placed on the working table – is measured with the sensors head. In one single run the straightness in two directions as well as all the angle deviations pitch, yaw and roll are measured and evaluated. The time required per linear axis is about 15 minutes. Thus the geometric test of a machine with three linear axes is completed in less than one hour.


Thanks the new RAIL-check measuring system precise data of the straightness and angle deviations are provided within shortest time.
